The GIS-R5 dual-WAN hotspot gateway allows any business to transform a wireless access point into a fully functional WiFi Hotspot for up to 100 concurrent users. Guests and visitors will be greeted with a login page and asked to use a login code or voucher to access the Internet. guests can alternatively gain free access by agreeing to the hotspot's terms and conditions (disclaimer) or by entering their name and email address. All our units now also include a Facebook Login option to help improve social media presence.

The GIS-R5 Dual WAN Hotspot Gateway is popular with motels and hotels, however it is also used by many other types of businesses that provide Internet access as a service to the public. The GIS-R5 is frequently installed with several wireless access points to provide WiFI Internet throughout a building, such as a motel. The GIS-R5 Dual WAN Hotspot Gateway can also be used to connect wired hotel rooms where a switch must be added to connect more cables to the LAN ports. The GIS-R5 can be used to connect business center computers and Internet kiosks, and is ideal for an Internet café. Any type of wireless access point can be connected to the GIS-R5 and provide managed WiFi Internet for laptops, netbooks, tablets, smartphones and any WiFi enabled device. In addition to the core features the GIS-R5 also adds an additional firewall to block file sharing. The GIS-R5 includes dual-WAN load-balance with failover.
